I remember Sid in Jefferson.
Sid in Lakeshore was someone else, right?
Is Abdul da Tentmakur still alive?

RIP.
I remember him as Sid from Jefferson with two Fs. He was a real character. It made for very entertaining radio.
One classic rant was after the Saints blew a lead and lost to the Eagles in the playoff game during the Bobby Hebert days. He yelled and screamed for about five minutes. I was very upset myself as I was driving home from the Superdome but this almost put a smile on my face.

Sid and I were high school classmates. He was a great guy and is gone far too soon.

sorry for your loss as Sid was a legend. Growing up a Saints fan in NO, I always looked forward to his Buddy D calls after a win or loss. Just curious, did ya'll graduate from East Jefferson HS ?

RIP, Sid. It was always enjoyable to read your posts.
Regarding Sid's namesake, my main memory of him was calling The Meatman's radio show after Katrina and hearing about his exploits in Tuscaloosa. Whenever they would talk about the 2006 Kentucky Derby, Sid would always call Barbaro BARABBAS.

I think Sid used to post on the old Tom Fitzmorris food board.
