I’m s huge critic of SHV but there are plenty of very nice areas. Please leave & take your crap finds with you.

I've been all over the country and there are far bigger shitholes than Shreveport. Camden NJ, Newark, Gary IN, Youngstown OH to name a few.

I highly doubt The mental midge who started this thread will eat at a fantastic place like Frank’s...judging on his trashiness, IHOP is prob the highlight of his day.

Ahh gotcha, I was thinking of the pizza one. Never been the the south Shreve one but the pizza place is great so I can imagine it'd be good.

Edit: Also what are they planning on doing where 220 meets i20? I saw where it looked like they were extending 220 a few months back when I passed through but wasn't sure if that is going to just go to the base or something, or is part of a bigger plan to complete the loop.

They are making a new gate and entrance into the base.

No it's just going to connect to the base to help alleviate traffic to the base on airline and Barksdale.

Also, I can't imagine what someone would find at a yard sale in highland anyway

I have privacy now around the Cascade Range, the weed is legal, the nature is beautiful and you only deal with bullshite if you go into the city.

I wouldn't call it a utopia per say, but when compared to shreveport..just with the nature alone, its damn close.

It's unfortunate there's nowhere I really want to live where this is true. I have "high" hopes for GA, though, now that the ballot-stuffers here reportedly outnumber the oven-stuffers.

good luck baw

For southern folks..Mississippi is on a path, and arkansas..but nobody really wants to live there right now.

If alabama were to legalize for recreational, the money that would be made in Mobile would be crazy.

When the original moneyed neighborhood of a city is dying, it’s not a good sign for said city.

Depends... The people of Natchez would kill to get all the old Democrat plantation money out and start pulling conservative, new business, new money in. Established, Dem old money is what kills. Bc that means they usually have their greedy hooks in every facet of local govt, strangling out HEALTHY economic growth because it threatens their power. We also see this trend happen when liberal-led businesses become super corporations. They get corrupt and drunk with their flush bank accounts and low morals, ethics, and accountability, and begin to seek political power over wealth - SEE EVERY DEM CITY. It eventually leads to a suppressed and fleeced middle class.

So, support your local, conservative businesses and conservative-led corporations and your Home-grown and mom-n-pops that just want to make a good honest living and help the local and state communities. THESE are the ones we need to help grow and lead our economy into a bright future.

I had never really spent much time in Shreveport but when I found myself living in Monroe, Shreveport was the big city to them. So, I went to Shreveport a few times.

Shreveport is a depressing, disgusting, embarrassing, corrupt, dirty city without a single redeeming quality.

I can't think of a single positive thing I can say about Shreveport except that it has really delicious Taqueria where I had a Mexican steak dish for about $11. That was good.
