Who goes to yard sales when they are in new areas? Antique tiger turned this board into shopping cucks or what. I don’t have anything wrong with a yard sale but I’ve never once been out of town and thought I’d like to go through some people’s used shite for sale.

Also I sat in on a city council meeting watching a friend trying to open a restaurant to accommodate the movie industry at the time with later hours because they filmed late into the evening.
They said no. The most unfriendly business city government ever. At least one councilman said let’s give him what he wants for 6 months and then revisit it to see if there are any problems. Once again.....no. Totally myopic, backward and stupid.
I talked to an Italian restaurant owner in Alexandria that had some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. I asked him why he didn’t open a restaurant in Shreveport. He said he tried 5 years ago, He even said he quit trying when he realized the city government did everything they could to make the process completely insane.
They deserve the piece of shite city it now is.
I grew up there. Have family members there. My dearest friends are there. I wouldn’t move back there for any reason. Especially after living in a city in Colorado that is MILES ahead of anything Shreveport has. And I’m not talking Denver.
The last 15 years of living in Shreveport was like living in prison.

Shreveport actually isn’t that big.

I’ve heard Bawcomville is particularly nice this time of year, the loose litter there approximates fallen autumn leaves in New England if you squint just right

The few times I have gone to Shreveport, in my experience, the "nice" areas seem to be few and far between.

I had a cousin who lived there and was getting married. His brother worked at the Horse shoe and had "connections" with some crack whore escort/strippers.

Me and a cousin of mine who is someone more like a brother. We grew up together, always with each other.. That sort of thing. We have to meet our cousins and their friends somewhere and follow them to some dude's house. They were all fired up talking about how hot these girls were..

We get to the dude's house, its some old coke head telling stories about Edwin Edwards (this was late 90s, early 2000s). These three crack whores get dropped off, they are fricked up out of their mind. One was on crutches. My cousin and their friends was all like "see! we told yall they were hot. We are going to have fun tonight!".

They break out stacks of $1s & $5s and these crack whores are trying to not pass out while they dance. They handing me and my cousin $1s and $5s was like "Here! Make them work for it". We looked at each other and started pocketing the cash.

As they were getting fricked up and all into the girls we sneak out that bitch.. We had about $75 between the two of us. We were staying at the horseshoe. We went back there, took the money we pocketed and went play Black Jack. Got up almost $50 and cashed out. Oh. And stole a bottle of jack daniels from the party.

Every place I had gone in shreveport. The old coke head, some supposedly "nice" restaurant, the movie theatre, casino, etc.. It just felt dirty, however; the one place that seemed the cleanest was some liquor store we stopped at to get something for the drive home.
