I can confirm this.

Yep. Or sit on the porch during the admiration.

Post yard work beer and it’s not close. Being hot and sweaty, walking into the AC and then cracking a cold one.

Your post is ironically poignant since I just finished my first beer from Tin Roof Brewery- Juke Joint IPA- as I put away my lawn tools. Tin Roof started shipping to Houston, I guess.

It was good. Definitely on the refreshing side. I like the light grain bill. Worked for a warm evening.

Some of you are alcoholics.

I drink more than I should but a beer after mowing the lawn has nothing to do with getting drunk. There’s nothing better than an ice cold beer when you have been working and your clothes are covered in sweat and grass trimmings.

Shower beer doesn’t really interest me to be honest.

Never got the shower beer. Water everywhere, steam. Not in there long enough unless I chug it.

This. Absolutely hate IPAs. I love dark beer from anywhere, but IPAs taste like shite to me.

I used to drink 18-24 beers 5 nights a week. I was a functioning alcoholic. So bad they tried to put me on some medication that makes you sick when you drink.

What I said was in jest but when you have times you set aside to just drink or to specifically drink, it’s a problem. I hope nobody here experiences that.

Being an alcoholic isn’t about being just drunk, it’s a dependency. Someone who is always drinking but not plastered is equally a problem drinker.
