There was a BRPD SUV parked under I-10 at Bluebonnet today. Usually there’s a bum on every corner there. Are they running them off?

I had one guy come up the other day and tap on my window, he didn’t know I had my dog in the back seat. He nearly lost it. Dude lost his footing when he fell backwards.

I liken the bums on literally every off ramp of this city to catching hardheads when fishing. Makes anyone with a lick of sense want to just pack it up and move on down the road.
If BR finally gets a handle on this, it will make a big impact on making this place a better place to live for all concerned.

This is true. If you stop giving them money, they will leave. But people won’t stop giving them money. They are soft-hearted, and in Baton Rouge, religiously-oriented, for the most part. They are conditioned to be charitable.
