I also think that people walking in the streets and roads being blocked don’t phase people here either. Canal being closed because of a parade is normal.

Houston PD have done a pretty good job so far.
I line of 30 horse mounted cops is quite a bit more intimidating than the squadron of bmx riding 5-0 in fricking shorty shorts like in Portland...
