Currently, SCOTUS allows trans to own them.
I think anyone with a diagnosed and categorized mental health issue or substance abuse problem should be, at least, subject to tougher background checks and registration of firearms. Gender dysphoria is categorized as a mental health issue by the APA. The same goes for phobias or irrational fear....for example someone who is scared to leave their home without a gun suffers from irrational fear of something, only the lord knows what, and should be banned just as people who suffer from gender dysphoria from carrying a firearm should be. I would bet a sizeable majority of rational people in the US would agree that anyone with a diagnosed and categorized mental disorder should not possess firearms.

Racism is an irrational fear or a phobia as categorized by the APA so no, they shouldn't. The mentally ill should not possess firearms. Gender dysphoria, irrational fear, believing in shite a rational adult knows ain't real...all of these are recognized as mental health disorders by the APA and anyone suffering from any of these diseases should be prohibited from owning a gun.

Dont care about any of that, its their life and not mine and quite frankly its not really my business whats between their legs or what they want to be referred to as. Do i understand it? Not really. Do i care, not really as it has zero impact on my day to day life. However, when people start talking about euthanizing and camps and killing them thats a different story.
