I have a better idea. How about we just bring those manufacturing jobs back to the US?
Let me just snap my fingers and make that happen real quick.

I think you got some extreme examples of the people you helped GRT, I work with a lot of people from Mexico and other LA/CA countries and they are very well educated

use your subscription to WSJ

all your political/govt expertise and you had no idea the US was engaging in a war against drugs which would by its very nature include the Mexican cartels

the movies/TV shows ,,, the rap videos you're so fond of

you're a fricking retard,,I'd have better odds teaching you to run

The people who are middle class or better are. There are tons of doctors, dentists, lawyers, teachers, etc but they won’t be working in factories. I used to go to the dr and dentist in Mexico when we lived on the border

Plenty of the poor women cannot read or write, some don’t speak Spanish - especially from Chiapas.

And I was being sarcastic with the ‘yes, that’s exactly it’ - my point was the Asian population is generally more educated because they value education more.

Trust me - plenty of my Central American cousins cannot read or write. My mom used to teach in Mexico - she taught English and literacy.

The cartels inject billions of u.s dollars into mexico. In order to do that, they need to bribe and payoff almost every politician.

The mexican government would never want that to stop.

That's probably the most simplistic way to put it. I'm sure there's more to it, but that's what it boils down to.

Another "trade deal" or "alliance" where the USA has to foot the bill for everyone else. No thank you.

haven't been to El Salvador in years but when I used to go there a lot for work it always stuck out to see school "buses," if they could be called that, absolutely packed to the gills with kids in perfectly clean and pressed Catholic school uniforms being picked up from the most depressing hovels you can imagine

Yeah - in Guatemala and Honduras there are a bunch of orphans that live in the trash dumps. Most of the kids aren’t older than 10.

Nope.

I’ll take Alberta and let’s (finally) invade and take over Cuba, instead.

No would should invade both Canada and Mexico and build water and oil pipelines connecting it all. Institute the constitution across all three nations. The border at the southern Mexico border can be built in a month. We wouldn't need one north.
