You have zero idea about the instability in those countries, and how manufacturing/trade works. If we got rid of some of the really stupid regs set by professional memo writers of the EPA from bills passed by morons in congress, there wouldn't be that much made in China.

Canada and the USA are much closer in "Way of life" than Mexico.
On any given day in Mexico, there is about a 30% chance that you'll be robbed and left for dead while driving down the Mexico version of I-10 during the day time. Mexico is 100% THIRD WORLD.

Would be great…but wouldn’t work. As much as Mexican labor is cheaper than American labor it could never compete with slave labor. The only way that would work is if the US would hold China to equal moral standards but we would also have to give up on $200 flat screen TVs and iPhones

It’s the amount that came and that were let loose to stay here under Obama and doing the same again under Sniffer. Also refugees especially when more younger adult males from some areas. Throw in the ones not from Mexico coming with their hands out and getting on various level of public funding from beginning especially if their child born here. I read sniffer approved HEERF III education aid for all of them as well not just dreamers or DACA.
