No. Every self-respecting man should know how to change a tire. It's not difficult at all.

This- I was even designated office tire changer for the women in my office for years. Although some of the new SUV's have some very strange ways to try & remove the undeneath spare...

Every girl I know can do it so no clue how any guy could not..

Though it is possible the tools weren't there. I've had a flat an realized I couldnt get the tire off because the car I was in didnt have a damn kit.

Calling AAA for a flat tire was embarrassing as hell but didnt have an option unfortunately.

I’ll never forget this as long as I live. One of my first college roommates woke me up right after we moved in to help him. I got up and got dressed and went outside only to discover he had a flat. Now I’ve carried a patch kit in every vehicle I’ve ever had and have plugged I don’t know how many tires, so i assumed he wanted me to plug his tire.

But no, he wanted me to put the spare on. He didn’t know how to take it off.

It's a requirement in my house. My daughters (no pics) know how. I've told them a lady should never have to change her own tire, but I lady should know how to change their tire. They had to change one on their car in the driveway before I let them drive alone at 16.

CSB-

I was going back to work one hot arse day from lunch and I see a young girl holding a baby standing by her car with a flat. I pulled over to help. Her POS baby daddy was in the front seat, helpless.

I sweated my arse off, changed their tire and shamed the useless dad. Man card revoked.

I agree that every male should be able to change a tire, but honestly I wouldn't even change a tire on the side of the Bonnet Carre' Spillway or somewhere like that. Just saying frick that.

changing a tire and cutting the grass? If you’ve never been specifically taught you should still be able to figure it out.

what kinda logic is this? You don't know what you don't know. The grass thing sure..start the lawnmower and cut the grass. But if you haven't been taught how to change a tire how do you expect the knowledge to just innately be there?

And yes, I do know how to.

I've changed many tires, but at some point, the risk isn't worth it.
