Should be an enormous spike in COVID cases this week

Now that we are 5 to 7 days out from the beginning of the riots, with people touching each other, yelling, and coughing due to tear gas, this should be a death sentence for the masses. Waiting for that big spike...

The riots are a really good test.
If there's not a "spike" in riot population. I'd say it's likely ran it's course.
However, rioters are generally young so likely not to be symptomatic or tested.

Totally agree. But as soon as the riots end, we will go right back to COVID or some other bullshite will pop up.

You understand that they will only say rioters still managed to exercise their rights while remaining safe

Man. Remember all those who shite on me for saying Covid was entirely overhyped by the media, and that it was absolutely ridiculous things were shut down.

If there's no spike in cases after riots, protests, and memorial day, we'll have definitive proof the hysteria was unfounded

You should’ve been on the Austin subreddit since Easter. We’re on 3748th wave predictions at this point. Your definitive proof has been on display for 2 months.

Don't try to pat yourself on the back. Any normal human being with any sort of brain cells, especially on here, have been saying the exact same thing as you since this all started, including me.

Georgia's 7 day window of case #s has increased for 10 consecutive days, beginning 8 days after the shelter in place restrictions were lifted for most folks. So I think Georgia will be the best state to watch to see how much that increase is compounded by all these events with the riots in Atlanta and holiday.
