Mississippi had their highest # of covid patients on ventilators over the weekend

108 Rona patients on vents in the whole state of Mississippi. Just at 400 hospitalized statewide.

That’s it.

From the linked article:
"According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the coronavirus' incubation period can last up to 14 days, though research has shown that the vast majority of patients who develop symptoms do so within 11.5 days of infection."

In other words, patients infected w/ Covid 19 will develop symptoms w/in 2 wks of exposure, not 3 weeks.

Yeah, but the problem isn't really all the healthier people out during this getting sick in a week. A large percentage of them will probably be asymptomatic anyway.

The community "spread" occurs when those carry it around and spread to numerous other people that will get sick.

That's why you have to look for a 3+ week period after any "event" or change of activity to really ascertain how much it was "spread".
