Since shopping malls are on the decline I figured it would be nice to share some of our memories from the shopping malls. I always loved the arcades in the mall

I didn't like the mall very much when I was a kid because I was usually dragged there with my mother (no pics) and sister (no pics), which meant hours of clothing stores. Cortana was a lot of fun though at Christmas time and ate at the Picadilly there a lot.
When I was older, I did like the Mall of Louisiana when it first opened. It has Learning Smiths, World of Science, a good Spencers, Barnes and Noble, and a music store, which were all good. And Cinnabon and Great American Cookie Co. The food court was pretty good.

Tinder Box at Lakeside in Metairie sold me cigars as a junior and senior in high school.
It was a classy little place in that sea of mom’s with strollers and the idiots who used to meet up for power walking in the middle of shopping mall.

I miss the old Hammond Square Mall and the smell of corn dogs in the air thanks to that corn dog stand near the entrance.

Music store and picking up chicks were the only things I cared about in the mall.

I always hated them.
Good riddance.
