These stories aren't even surprising anymore.

That’s in a decent area of town.

Witnesses tell WVTM 13 that a fight broke out inside the restaurant during a gender reveal party, when a shot was fired. They said total panic and chaos ensued after the shot was fired. Then they saw someone being taken to a hospital by ambulance, and another person taken into custody.

Was this a baby gender reveal, or a coming out party?

Wife and I took the kids to the one in Vestavia years ago. We left feeling VERY uncomfortable not only with the crowd, but how we were treated by said crowd. Never been back and never will go back.

The Chuck went downhill fast. Took my kids to one years ago and the little ones running around were trying to steal tickets right out of other kids' hands with their "parents" doing nothing about it.

No. Frozen grocery store pizza is better now.

There is literally no reason to go to a Chuck E. Cheese anymore. Even the games are mostly crap. It is a retail chain that deserves to die.

Its incredible how 90% of the problems in this country are because of 10% of the population

I have been thinking this for years. Unless they made major improvements to the games and food, why go? Hang out with a bunch of thugs?

I had to do quite a bit of trash pick up over the years. When we’d get taken to Chuck E Cheese, the amount of soiled dirty diapers just thrown in the parking lot was unreal.

I would estimate 50+ of them. It was that bad. This was the Alexandria Chick E Cheese. So damn nasty.

when i am in chucky cheese it sort of feels like what I would expect being in prison and knowing a riot is about to go down.

I live pretty close to that one but have never been. We hav ea little one that is still young for that kind of thing but he's getting close to the age where he might find it fun to go.

What was it about it that was offputting?

Haven't been to one in years, but I was always amazed at the number of people who would bring their kid and then leave. We would often not know the kid or the parents and they wouldn't know us, yet they would just leave. Maybe we were over protective, but if we took our kids to a Chuck E Cheese party, we stayed around to watch and help out.

Agreed, my daughter will just have to hurt her friends feelings who invite her to Chuck E Cheese. I haven’t been in 12 years. I remember the pizza being pretty good. Everything else was poor person bait.

I got combat training from overseas
Now I'm the bouncer at the Chuck E. Cheese
I think I'd rather do a year in jail
Than another afternoon in Chuck E. Cheese hell
Puke with pepperoni still smells the same
You waste a paycheck on a videogame
Lined up out the door like the Stones are in town
Ain't enough Chucky-arse whippins to go 'round
In Chuck E. Cheese hell...
