Darn just heard Matt Mika from Lansing, Michigan and is a lobbyist for Tyson Foods suffered 4-5 gunshots and is in critical condition.

Of course he's going to downtalk violence, but the fact is his supporters have been crazy and violent for over a year now. Where are they getting their marching orders? Mobs of people don't just randomly but consistently band together and decide to wreak havoc and violence.

I don't think it's inappropriate for Landrieu to speak on the matter. Scalise represents thousands of Orleans Parish residents in Lakeview and Uptown.
