Correct. It's a small projectile at a super high velocity. Unless you hit vitals, there's a pretty high chance of it just passing through and you surviving.

It is amazing how our PC culture has succeeded in shifting the focus of these horrific attacks from the tenants of Ismalmic theology regarding infidels to "gun culture". To think these terrorists are basically following the Koran in what they think is Allah's will, should alarm even the most bleeding of hearts.

Fwiw, handguns are wayyyyyy more lethal at close range. Slow, heavy and designed for maximum expansion/internal damage.
The most lethal, would be buckshot out of a shite gun.

PC and LGBT go hand in hand. I wouldn't be surprised if this attack opens the eyes of some of the people who are still insisting Muslims aren't an issue.
