This is such a stupid take. Yeah sure the idea of no gun zones working is dumb as well, but do people honestly think that a regular citizen will be able to keep their cool and locate the shooter while there's a massive slaughter going on?

It’s not about having a civilian go after the active shooter but more about deterring the active shooter in the first place. Less likely for the whole thing to happen in the first place if people are carrying.

Gilroy is over 50% Hispanic. OTOH median family income is $80k and less than 10% of the population is below the poverty line. Sounds pretty solidly middle class.
