No one died, this time, but how soon until someone does?

quote:

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened in the parking lot of Walmart at the intersection of Burbank Drive and Bluebonnet Boulevard Wednesday night.

At around 9:45 p.m., deputies responded to Walmart at 10550 Burbank Drive in reference to an unoccupied vehicle struck by gunfire, EBRSO spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said.

Spent rounds were found across the street after impacting the wall of Firestone Auto Center at 10705 Burbank Drive.

Rounds were also recovered from a vehicle at the scene.

No injuries were reported, Hicks said. The investigation is ongoing.

Whoever did it more than likely was just joking. No need to ruin his life. Maybe make him pay a fine and repair the vehicle. MAYBE give him probation.

Normally gentrification works, but that area reeks from the sewage processing plant (the actual one, not EBR Parish Prison), so finding people to invest in that area is a tall task.

Is it a sewage plant? I thought those were some kind of industrial tanks. Anyway, the whole area smells like death. I usually have a cold heart towards the poors, but I actually feel sorry for people who live down there. It is truly a contemptible corner of this Earth.
