i'm so annoyed by this, because the cops are the ones who actually told her to go to the pot.
i wish they hadn't dialed up the escalation to 100. and instead further distanced themselves if they were so concerned about her throwing water on them, but still try to joke with her.
they got super butthurt over her saying she rebuked them.

At first I thought the pot still had the water in when she was like “I’m sorry.” You can’t make that comment and then just be like “sorry lol.” But then I see she dumped the water out and it was empty. So that escalation by both cops, but especially the one who fired went from 0-100 in two seconds and seems unnecessary. Especially when they were the ones who told her to go get it.
I mean shite, mace her if you feel threatened. But shooting her in the face is ridiculous. This dude may get off on a technicality, but at worst that’s manslaughter. He’ll be lucky to avoid the murder charge.

In the fricking sink. She grabs the pot and you can hear the water draining. He shot a woman in the head over an empty pot of water that he would have literally been watching her empty.

I'm with you. I'm glad you pointed this out, because I didn't hear or notice it, but that makes it even worse for them. Even if she hadn't I still don't see this as a justified shooting. This is unreal to me. Sad. Terrible. Disgusting. Unnecessary.
I don't know why they felt the need to get so offended over her saying she rebukes them. They shouldn't have reacted like that. Continue joking with her and let her come away from the sink when she's ready.
I also think if they had a suspicion she was off that maybe they should have offered to turn the pot on her stove off for her. Especially given how they were going to react with her around it.
At no point did she show any type of physical threatening manner towards them. They shot this woman who was cowering down saying she was sorry for holding the pot they told her to go get. I believe she was letting go too and then naturally grabbed it for protection once they went ballistic.

For the ones shooting a woman with the deadly weapon of boiling water? C'mon man. If you want sympathy for the dangers of your job then don't blast a woman for having a pot of fricking water.

Not to defend the shooter cop, but the only thing I sort of take issue with is this:
He wasn’t “discouraging” his partner from saving her. He was like “it was a head shot, she’s dead. You can get your kit but it’s a headshot and she’s gone.” There’s plenty enough to go at this cop for, but that one seems like a stretch that he’s keeping his partner from “saving her.”
