Yep and no reasonable person would drop a pot of boiling water at their feet anyway. Her actions seem completely reasonable. Cop was just pissed that she had fumbled with paperwork and then "rebuked" him.

Throwing her hands up was dumb, but it didn’t seem like cop was actually in danger. I think they knew she mentally disturbed, so The cops should have handled the boiling water pot situation better to avoid it even coming to this. The one got a chip on his shoulder with orders not followed & being rebuked and getting some back talk from the lady. To stop his partner from providing aid pretty much seals he didn’t want her alive to testify.

Instead of pushing for true reform this is going to become all about race. It doesn’t matter that it happens to other races including whites or that black cops torture and kill blacks.

I'm usually on the cop's side in situations like this. It's a stressful demanding job where any moment your life could end. However, in this instance I don't see how anything that little old lady could do with a pot, even if full of boiling water, justified him feeling his life was threatened and that shooting her in the head was the only option they had. This is not a lawful shooting and I think this guy needs to be sent away. If he can't keep his wits in a situation like this then he would be a risk to do something similar to somebody else down the line. He has no business being a cop and he'll pay the consequence when he's sent to jail.
