Yeah, but the current crime surely deserves it if they:

were a threat
endangering his life in any way
had a weapon
robbing him

If this was legitimately the 3rd time they robbed him, he took it upon himself to prevent a 4th. Is it unlawful, sure since committing a crime and running away you can't shoot them.

Would I throw him in jail, no.

18 pages in on a OT thread? Never a good idea.

"Assaulting" hmmm. 80 year old people have weak bones. I didn't see cuts or bruises. They pushed and held him down.

And broke his collar bone. How do you not consider that assault?

I'm pretty sure if I pushed an 80yr old down and held him on the ground, breaking his collar bone, assault charges would be filed.

What if she had a rocket launcher up her arse?

Well..if she had taken it in the azz beforehand then she wouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place, correct?

Consequently she wouldn't have been weighed down with child, thus allowing her a quicker exit from the alley and in so preventing her from being run down and shot by an 80 yr old man with a broken collar bone.

So you see, what it really comes down to is.... IF you are a female who plans on commiting robberies in the future, do yourself a favor and take it up the arse. It may hurt a bit but not nearly as bad as a .45 cal bullet zipping through your back.

Problem solved.

Lesson learned:

Women, you need to take it up the arse more. It will keep you from getting shot.

His hearing aid probably feel out after they tackled him and broke his collar bone. He probably heard "Shoot me, I'm pregnant".

Yep. Trash often get charged with their fellow trash's death when someone gets killed in the act of a crime.

where you like it or not, the facts as HE has stated point to jail time. Were the perps trash? Sure. Did the old man go way over the line FOLLOWING them and shooting as the female begged (essentially) to not be? Yep.

The old fella backing it up with the intent of leaving a message to the male only damns him further.

Is what it is.

shot an unarmed pregnant woman in the back. Yeah, that doesn't quite meet any of the various justifications to avoid a manslaughter charge. However, get a jury full of teabaggers and he will skate like that dude in Florida.

Stay with me and answer me question. In your mind When does a home invaded no longer pose a threat?

Your previous post said only when they are dead.
I think such an absurd response
In this case he may be correct. The shooter said that was the THIRD time they had robbed him.
