What if that chick had something very valuable in her hand that she had stolen from the old man? Is he supposed just watch as she runs away with his life savings? According to some of y'all, the mere fact she is fleeing and unarmed protects her from any actions by the old man.

She wasn't threatening him. He killed her when no reasonable person could see her as an immediate threat.
You're not "nice" if you would do exactly what this guy did, especially when you're sitting here in cold blood saying you would. At least he has the excuse of being in a jacked-up state of mind because of their actions.

Both are felonies so it's the same in the eyes of the law is it not?
By that logic, fraud = murder?

Tax evasion is grounds for deadly force now, I guess.

As opposed to killing her? Yes, the law says he should just watch.

Again, vengeance is not the law of the land around here. Maybe in the middle east, but not in this society.

I never said I would chase down the girl and double tap her bc I wouldn't but I give zero fricks that he did

Your society maybe. I live in Texas. I'd have a key to the city

Some of you people have this man convicted with a limited story written to sensationalize.. We don't know the facts but we do know there's a dead women who was a part of a burglary, kidnapping and assault of an 80 year old man..
I'd be shocked if this man ever sees a jail cell

There is precedent. U.S. v. Britain (1775-1783).

Didn't do that bitch any good did it? She got what she deserved.

I don't feel bad for her at all, but I wouldn't have shot an unarmed pregnant woman while she was running away from me.
To say that was a candid interview would be a major understatement.

When I posted this:

Anyone want to admit that they would shoot an unarmed woman after she was no threat to you?
You replied this:

his collarbone was already broken in his own home. what happened to the old school don't start no shite won't be no shite? You are the epidemy of the pussification of america
If you aren't saying that the old man did the correct thing and that you would do the same thing, then what exactly were you trying to say?

Here's the funny thing about this whole mess. If this woman had been running from a cop instead of an old man, the law would have been on the side of the officer in question.

It certainly doesn't mean the old man can shoot her in the back.
