Well, I later said that it could be a fictitious baby. Doesn't really change my opinion of the man or what should happen to him. He may face a more serious charge if she really was pregnant.

I get your point, but it's ok to shoot someone that's running away down the hall in the house??? They don't pose a threat while running away, but since they haven't ran out the door yet that makes it ok?

If they are still in your house, they pose a threat. They could grab a knife or any other object in the house and hurt you.
Now if they put their hands up and obviously give up? Call the police, if they make any sudden moves, that's on them.

No shite. My other friend who was shot 4 times in home evasion posts here. Would love his opinion.the experience doesn't make my opinion flawed, it just makes it more knowledgable
