Yes, likely subsided but I also believe large group plans are except for a lot of the ACA BS. Therefore the small yearly increases reflect the small medical cost increases.

For 2015.... Blue Cross LA
$2024.95 per month premium
$1000 deductible per person $3000 deductible for family
$9600 out of pocket max
80/20 coinsurance

This is private insurance for my family of 5. Increase in premiums this year of 28%. Last year's increase was 22%.

More like Unaffordable Care Act.

Lose my heath insurance in a month unless my job decides to start giving it. No way in hell my young healthy straight out of college arse is going to pay more than rent for health insurance I won't use.

my brothers wife (gf at the time) thought this way too, and then she had to have an emergency appendix removal.

With OBAMACARE, for me, my wife, and 19 year old daughter, I pay $1868 PER MONTH...no subsidy. For that, I receive the added privilige of paying another $3000 per person deductible before the plan pays a single penny. That's right...I expect to pay roughly $25000 in medical costs in 2017 before my BCBS plan pays anything. For you fortunate souls with employer-paid plans, enjoy it now. But get ready for a royal screwing when you get laid off at 60 years old.
