“On average, how many hours a day do you spend on Tigerdroppings?”

I looked Chicken square in the eye and said “All of them”

Had a guy ask questions like "whats your biggest life achievement?" And asked what my personal hobbies were. I can't stand those type questions. Interviews are supposed to get down to business. Wth does anyone care what I do OUTSIDE OF THE JOB?

I typically will ask that of people I interview if the rest of the interview goes well. Want the person to be well adjusted and a good fit. If hey are super qualified but will not mingle well with the team probably not worth the cost to bring them in. Especially now.

guy looks up and says… your brother slept with my fiancé…I know my brother and know that is very possible… so I just look at him in the eyes and say …”I guess this interview is over”… he gives me a look and no response…. I stare for a minute at him… get up and walk out… no words spoken..

Should have said “ask her if he was any good, and if she says yes, realize I’m twice the man he is and that’s why you should hire me”

If a taxi and a limo were priced the same, which would you choose?

Whats the most unique thing about you not on your resume?

One job I had, the people in my department told me that they originally wanted to hire someone else. He screwed it up by mentioning that he liked to collect and restore GI Joe toys, and other vintage toys. This department was kind of a henhouse, and the chicks in charge universally agreed that they weren't hiring a grown man who played with toys.

I've been on three interviews in my entire life. First one was right before I graduated college. My professor set me up with an interview at a company out in Rayne. I was only asked my comfort level with PowerPoint and then the plant manager came in and brought me around to meet everyone. Every single person in that building, besides me, was black.

Second interview was that same day. I interviewed at a company in Crowley and met the general manager who just asked if I knew certain people that went to the same high school as I did. I then met the VP and they offered me a job.

My current job, I went in and the they asked specifically about my computer skills(on my resume). I went in great detail about them and I was offered the job that afternoon. No other questions asked.

My favorite is to put a rubix cube in front of them. Then say nothing, just look at watch. They will eventually ask what they should do, then respond what do you think you should do

My 10 year old son would grab and solve it in about a minute and a half.

"Based on our conversation is there anything that concerns you regarding my ability to do this job? If so, can we talk about them?"

It shows you're not afraid to discuss and defend your weaknesses and the interviewer isn't always going to outright bring up their concerns about you to you. And if you don't discuss it, they will mark it as a negative for sure.

Not a bad question, but I interviewed for a summer clerkship in law school and got a rejection letter from them in the mail soon enough where it was sent before I had the interview

Did you write them a letter or email requesting the interview? Judging solely from your grammar, I would have sent the same rejection.
