think next week could see a pretty good severe potential? Temps gonna get up to upper 70s Thursday and showing thunderstorms

I haven't looked at it. Going with the current schedule, I'd bet on it. I haven't looked at anything with it, though.

That’s what happens when you have an over abundance of school closures due to an over abundance of caution.

Back on the fateful April 27, 2011 day, wasn't the tornado probabilities "only" 45 % or so?
Thus 10% probability is still considerable.

It was initially 30% but they went up to 45% after the morning round of storms before the main outbreak got started.

45% tornado probabilities are extremely rare. Think about it this way. The probability number they give means that there is a X% chance of a tornado within 25 miles of a given point in the covered area. So on 4/27/11, the 45% tornado probability area had a 45% chance of a tornado occurring within 25 miles of a given point in that area.

The gas lines at Costco were packed today with people filling up their tanks in anticipation for this storm.

I’m basically to the west of the 5 rating in Arkansas. May be a fun night of trying to sleep.

I’m right above the 3 line. It’s close enough even for a two.

I updated the title and the graphics. I couldn't fit the discussions in the post. I may try to get them posted later.

That's because storms haven't even fired yet.

How do y'all link the outlook where it changes with each update?

I just copy the image address straight from each graphic on the SPC site.

Nope, Little Rock. It’s further west than the 5 line, but I’m in the area by I-30 where the tornados always track, well they used to.

Tornadoes always track everywhere.

And used to always track everywhere, too.
