It's not a trip so much, living in Colorado until July when my wife's company drags us back to Louisiana. We got 4" of snow yesterday and more at the local ski area.

Hang on, are you on stormcast also?

Appears so far the area south of Tuscaloosa is very favorable but it’s messy. Nowhere else seems to be organizing much other than the Selma and Brookhaven cells.

Long way to go but so far doesn’t appear to be happening all over like they predicted

It needs to wait a few more hours so I can get home without driving through a monsoon

If it damages the Jack's in Clanton, I'm gonna be pissed.

If it gets shut down, you can hit the one a little further up near Calera.

If I’m thinking of the right one, it has a working sink in the dining area. Weirdest damn thing.

At first, I thought this was a pic of the Mississippi River almost to the top of the levee and immediately went from "eh, this will be a whole lot of nothing in south Louisiana" to...

and then

in about 2 seconds.

Yep! I mostly lurk there but have posted a few times. That damn cajungal irritates the shite out of me with all of her "do you think I'm okay to drive to xyz in the morning" or "my husband has to work in xyz - is he going to be okay" posts.

I've honestly never heard of that site before. Sounds more like a porno site for hairy girls than a weather site.
