I expect the high risk to be expanded further east later today.

When is the next update? This morning or lunchtime?

I just recall another recent event like this that their updates seemed too far apart.

IMO, on a day like this updates should be provided every hour, if for nothing else to say "no change".

Weather underground only showing anticipated 0.32 inches of rain in west LA so i guess I should be fine.

Clouds are moving fast but wind not quite here yet on the ground

Suns shining and it’s 4 degrees warmer than it was supposed to be at this point this morning. Today may not be a fun day

I’ve got a good 15-20 mph southern wind here now. It’s rolling. Humid. Suns out behind the clouds. I’ve seen this setup before the morning of April 27, 2011 while walking to class at MSU and it’s eerie as frick

REALLY don’t like how this radar looks early, once these early storms blow out everything looks clear for the sun to do it’s thing

The high risk has been expanded eastward. Now includes places like Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

If there’s a southern tornado outbreak, you can bet your sweet arse that Tuscaloosa and Birmingham are going to be included.

It’s like they forgot and were like “shite, we gotta put them in there”

I know it’s just one model that doesn’t mean a ton but there’s a thick updraft helicity line that goes right over my house
