No need for actual weather commentary at this moment, we're in whiny bitch mode for now.

Oh ok

I bet they cancel schools too. They cancel them for every little clap of thunder these days. When I was a kid our desks served as a tornado shelter and nuclear bomb shelter. We weren’t scared of a little weather. Then our parents picked us up and we laid on the back dash of their grand marquis going down the highway while they smoked Marlboro reds with the windows rolled up because we weren’t pussies back then

So we should expect weather delays for the LSU-Mizzou baseball series next weekend?

If all these attention seeking, gloom and doom, the world is about to end weather nuts had been around on 6/5/44 the allied forces would have never left England and we would all be speaking german.

In Georgia?

No. Late March-Mid-April is our peak tornado/severe weather time.

Delta, do you live in the Yazoo City/Rolling Fork area? You're always under the gun out there, it seems.

I'm in north Alabama. I just duck on March 1 and don't stick my head up until June 1.

I've lived here all but the first 3 years of my life. Our worst storms happen in late March-mid April due to the temperature gradiant/competing airmasses.

I don't know if it's Blue Car Syndrome, but doesn't it seem like the vast majority of bad weather occurs on weekends?

Great.
You should run for superintendent, and when you win, never ever cancel school.
