Just had a tornado warning in Norcross GA. No watches were up as far as I can tell when the storms came through.
I don’t know if the sirens I just heard were in Norcross but they started about 10 minutes after the main part of the storm came through. Great warning when everything starts going off after the main storm has passed

How about a Moderate Risk along the south-central Eastern Seaboard? We don't see that much. The risk is due to a 45% probability of damaging winds. There is a 10% probability of tornadoes, as well.

...THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MUCH OF
THE PIEDMONT AND COASTAL PLAIN OF THE CAROLINAS THROUGH
SOUTHERN/CENTRAL VIRGINIA...

...SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms with considerable potential for producing
damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes are likely across much of
the southern through mid Atlantic Coast region, particularly across
the Carolinas into southern/central Virginia this afternoon and
evening.

Wasn't exactly expecting a moderate to pop here, though some modeling last night looked pretty energetic for that part of the world.

This system has been a busy fricker.

SUMMARY...A broken squall line will likely persist into the afternoon while moving eastward. Bowing segments and embedded supercells will pose a threat for a couple of tornadoes and damaging gusts, along with isolated large hail.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles north northeast of Waycross GA to 30 miles southwest of Sarasota FL. For a complete depiction of the watch see the associated watch outline update (WOUS64 KWNS WOU7).

I'm sure that 10 yr old doesn't think the system was a bust.

A lot of tornado warnings up in NC. Fayetteville. Durham area. Both look like they're on the ground.
