Its wide open in front to maintain the inflow. Pretty much all alone too, storm to the south shouldn't impact it a lot. That storm could very well hold together for a while.

Strange weather in Baton Rouge. Been sunny all day, and a storm just rolls through with rain, thunder, and winds gusting higher than anything yesterday. It lasted about 15 minutes and now its sunny again with light winds.

Very abnormal storm development in the cold pool. Pretty cold aloft getting these storms going. Could see hail in some of them as they roll in through the afternoon.

Just had pea sized hail with one of those storms in Central.

This storm stinks all around. Super massive and creating bad weather everywhere. I did not expect this much moisture on the backside in BR today (thats what she said)

Follow the CAPE to follow where the severe storms are heading, and an idea of the northern extent.



Where the best low level shear is. Best spots for rotations within the line.



Moisture coming in S to N, meeting up with the east moving line. Line won't be fading much in the next couple of hours.
