Why have A/C then? In winter set your heat to 45 during day and 35 at night. Just add a blanket or 2.

That's a NO for me dawg! 82 at night and I won't sleep a wink. I can understand when you aren't home bumping it uo a few degrees from what you normally keep your house at but 78 no way. It would take forever to cool back down on a summer day.
