All of my friends say I'm Ron Swanson, and you make me look like a social butterfly.

i have noticed this a lot more the last few years, especially with cashiers. there is very little professionalism. they often crack jokes, use very informal language, etc. who do they think they are?

trader joe's is pretty bad about this. stfu and bag my groceries.

I think this is your conscious letting you know that you're and a-hole for going around thinking you're better than everyone else.

Would you rather them stand there in silence while they bag up your $250 in groceries? Sounds like you just hate your job.... so you're upset others may like theirs.

....can you even afford $250 in groceries or are you just the guy at TJ's with chocolate peanut butter cups and 2 liters of vodka?

If McKenzie told you how days in a row she worked, it's probably cuz you asked.

I'm going to assume this is a response to the OP and not me.

So just shop at Walmart instead. Workers still aren't very professional, but at least the cashiers don't bother you with their pleasantries because they're busy talking with the cashier at the next register about getting their hair and nails did.

Shop at target man. 60 people checking out on the only 3 registers open because the other 12 are just for show. Then get asked about their 5% off card everytime you shop there. Love Target.

I'd rather someone who is friendly than a rude person who just tells you your total and doesn't say thank you.

You are bitching about receiving above average service and an employee doing exactly what their company expects of them...
In this millennial driven society, it is not enough for a company to just provide good service, they have to "connect" with their customers..:making money is not enough either the company must have a "purpose"..:
Odds are this is your fault because I bet you are a millennial
