Keep in mind, I don't have a dog in this fight but...you want some business not to do something they think will benefit them in some way, because you don't want to have a conversation with your daughter if she happens to see it?
A business that you don't even spend money with?

hink for a lot of people it's more baffling than anything else. There is a tiny percentage of people this caters to. Is one store in a mall nobody goes to representative of all of society?

What is Sephora?
What is a Mall?
Who of the offended here would be going there in the first place?

Wait...people still go to Lakeside Mall?
You haven't been there around the holidays the last few years have you?
I actually stopped there this weekend for the first time in quite a while and they have really spend a lot on fixing the place up. Also new restaurants have been added to the back parking lot.
As to the make up thing, my daughters good friend is 17 and gay. He wears make up. She even got him a brush kit for Christmas.
It be what it be. We started assuming around the time he was 12 that he would come out as gay at some point. I just didn't expect that he would be into make up.
Solid family and perfectly normal brothers and sisters. Good kid overall.

This fricking world is going upside down.
That's what happens when you have run out of real "victims" and your entire identity is tied up in being a "victim" or virtue signaling for a "victim" because it selfishly makes you feel better about yourself. You have to invent "victims" to keep yourself going.
So this is essentially a class to teach men how to put on makeup, right? Not homosexual men who still acknowledge they are biologically male, but like to wear make up. But biological males, who consider themselves "female" because gender is a "social construct", but want to adopt society's general social construct of the female gender wearing make up even though wearing make up should not be exclusive to females because being "female" is really just a social construct and males can wear make up, even though these people have decided they are females (i.e. transgender) instead of simply males who like to wear make up. Got it? Has you brain not exploded trying to follow their ridiculous circular (il)logic?

Why would you care if a private company offers this service to potential customers?
Exactly. They're just trying to tap into another demographic of potential customers

She could probably explain it to you, a lot better than you can.

What with living in the Lafayette area since 1988, no...no I haven't!

Of course not, but this is in Louisiana, not Oakland. Sephora is a national chain, not some one off Austin coffee house doing something ridiculous.
I don't pretend there is some truly national epidemic here, but it's not merely isolated batshit-ness on this topic anymore, it's relatively common and widespread.

Yep.
And if you are hanging around most malls in this country, you are going to see much shittier people to be worried about that a guy who wants to wear make-up.

It's bizarre, and just keeps getting more bizarre.
Bingo.

There's a dude in my little town In BFE who walks around in a full beard wearing a sundress. If it's here it's achieved maximum saturation.

She's 4. She wants to talk about school, dance class and unicorns. I don't think she needs to hear about transgenders, but I'm sure the OT knows best.

Then, to be honest, unless you point it out she almost certainly would not pay any attention to it.
I have 2 sons, 15 and 11 and I was always stunned by how little things registered with them as what I would have considered odd as a kid. If they ask a question, I answer it...but if they don't, I don't feel the need to go out of my way to address an issue just in case they may be wondering.
To this day, I've never had a question about anything like this with either of them. Of course, I don't tend to make huge deals out of this sort of thing in front of them, so they don't know to be upset by any of it.
