that we need to be wanted or complimented. I find it weird that so many beautiful women fish for these same things through social media. Obviously, they're getting complimented thousands of times daily, so does that just make the want for these things increase? We can talk about other people taking selfies also, but I know pics would bring the people in.

And for the ladies and aggies that want to join in the conversation.

Taking selfies is harmless. I like to take selfies of other people when they're not expecting it. A lot of times it's up a skirt.

It's like a drug I think. They have to keep posting more and more of them so they can keep getting their compliment high.

I think people are getting tired of the social media overload

When I see girls who are on social media 24/7, or the girls who insist on posting workout pics and shite like that all the time, I pretty much automatically consider them not wife material

It's like a drug to them. I see the same women doing this constantly, the same people giving them attention.

It actually mimics the same response in the brain. I think it was a TED Talk I saw that a psychologist did work on this and found the connection.

Also, daddy issues.

Dads, compliment your daughters often and build their self-esteems and confidence and they wont desire or seek attention from others, especially males.

Meh

Pretty people need to have more pics shown of them now less.

It's the unfortunate looking mouth breathers that need to hang it up.

True.

Constantly seeking validation is a sign of low self esteem.

It's just weird because selfies cross all boundaries, old, young, beautiful, not so beautiful, skinny, fat, introvert, extrovert. It seems like we are all drawn into the selfie phase at one point in our lives.
