My wife, before we were engaged, but living together, would help me with the grass and cut it in her bikini top and running shorts. My old house was on a somewhat busy street, guys passing would blow their horns at her…. 
She was like why is everyone honking their horns… I just laughed and said “you’re doing a great job baby, keep it up”…

She cuts the 2 acres around the house with her ZTR, I cut the rest with the tractor. Sometimes she cuts it all.

You can definitely tell who the city baws are.
At 72 my aunt still mows her own yard. And she will mow the easy part of the pasture with her tractor.
Growing up I saw plenty of women, mostly widows did their own yards. My grandma being one of them. Until I was old enough to do the whole thing by myself and the way she wanted.

My yard has too many blade destroying roots and I have some steep hills as well. She'd definitely flip the lawn tractor in that area. I don't need her to get hurt or killed. I prefer to do my own lawn work anyway. I want it perfect and I enjoy the exercise.

My mom is 75 and still mows their lawn and my sister’s lawn.
My brother lives near them and offers, but my mom swears it’s why she’s still very active and has convinced herself that if she quits mowing, she will shrivel up and slowly die.
So they don’t fight her.

My wife is barred from cutting the lawn or doing any garden trimming.
She just fricks it up and then I have fix everything.

We had a blonde smokeshow neighbor who mowed in just a bikini and tennis shoes.

My wife mows the front because she likes to. It's mostly level and she does it with our self propelled electric mower. I handle the back which is a much larger area.
