Downvote to your hearts content and lash out as much as makes you feel happy but I just have never understood how some people are so "soft." I deal with anxiety and depression but guess what...life goes on and the world does not care. Deal with it and keep your life moving. I will never understand people who are crippled with anxiety and so feeble and weak that they can't handle basic life matters like speaking to another human and looking them in the eye. anyway...yeah Dear Facebook or Sir this is a Wendys etc

Everyone’s a tough guy until they personally come face to face with their own human weaknesses. Only then do they find empathy for others. Don’t worry, you’ll eventually have your own moccasins to walk in.

Consider yourself lucky if you haven't had to deal with depression or anxiety that was clinically intense enough to effect your daily functioning. Because you haven't dealt with this issue, that doesn't mean others haven't. It doesn't make them feeble or weak. THAT is a weak mentality.

Bingo. That's why I don't get too offended by posts like this, tbh. I would have thought the same thing as OP until I experienced it myself. At that point, I told myself to never forget what it felt like because, frankly, you can't comprehend it until you've been through it. You and your thought processes become unrecognizable compared to the person you typically are in a day-to-day life.

How do I go about finding this? It seems much easier.

I know right! Because no one could ever possibly have any worse anxiety and depression than you right? That's definitely how that works.

Do you understand serotonin and how some people’s bodies make too much or not enough of it?

I don’t judge people who have been thru shot when I had a great childhood.
Yeah some people are just soft but a lot of them have been thru a lot with no outlet until now.
The brotherhood is about support and picking your brothers up, not bashing them.
It’s not my job to solve your problems but I’m here to listen and offer advice.

Listen woman (lol yeah right) if you haven't learned yet that you can't control anything but your own actions in life and are blaming society and some over arching societal beliefs to mental health YOU are YOUR OWN problem. You can't control anyone or anything else but yourself. there is no "man" keeping you down

I'm an only child, so I couldn't do that to my parents. There was nothing that brought me solace other than the thought that I could just put a bullet through my head and not have to feel that way anymore. It was the only comfort that existed.

Now I'm glad I stuck it out, and I'm damn happy with my life. But not everyone makes it out the other side to experience that.

There’s an obvious difference between what you “deal with” and what others are experiencing. I truly hope you never have to deal with the severe stuff because “life goes on” doesn’t affect the severe stuff. You can tell people this a million times, and they just can’t or won’t get it, but unless you’ve lived it, it’s impossible for you to understand.

You seem healthy and emotionally well-adjusted.

Stop moving the goalposts. You outright called people who have had worse anxiety and depressive issues than you "soft" because they want to seek help or even talk about the issues.

This isn't about me. I'm good in my headspace. This about you espousing a weak mentality that people only need to just pull themselves up by their bootstraps to fix everything.

You don’t get it because you’ve never been there. Consider yourself lucky and be thankful rather than trying to tear apart others who don’t have it as good as you do in the head.

So what about people like me that are introspective, know that they're the common denominator, yet don't know how to resolve the conflicts within themselves?

What does any of that have to do with you not believing mental health issues do in fact exist?

When you reply, can you please also address me as if you don’t believe I’m a woman? I like to not feel left out.

WRONG. I never said people are weak for wanting to seek help or talk about things. Go for it. It's great. It works. It's the people who wallow in their own misery and can't get out of their own way I have issues with. the world does not care. It will not stop for you and rub your head until you feel better. there is nobody to blame for your issues (or successes) other than yourself

It all ends in May 2040 with the return of the Phoenix so don’t sweat it.
