I wouldn’t be so sure about that.
I’ve seen folks in education fired for shite like this that they said on social media that was screenshotted and reported back to the employer. And largely on the premise that they’re a public employee. Most of those contracts include a couple of lines about how you conduct yourself outside of the workplace.

Lady in our org got canned for sending something similar to this in a reply. She was told it was stereotypical and racist.

There was some missing girl in the BR area and the entire time I was like "she probably ran away and wasn't kidnapped by a pedo" and people flipped out and then people were literally reporting seeing her on FB and chasing her and shite and I told them they looked like insane child molesters to this teen girl who is was just blowing off steam away from her parents. I made an avatar (Team Holly, IIRC) that pissed people off.
