so you predict Seattle will see a loss in population in the next 10 years?

Seattle has been one of the fastest growing areas in the country the last decade

Isn’t that what this country is, a big experiment? Yet so many people take offense when a city in a totally different state wants to push that experiment and see if something different works for them.

All public police forces are held responsible by their citizens.

The idea that you can send unarmed social workers to confront violent felons is one of the funnier things I've heard come out of all this. Who's going to take that job?

No one. That job isn’t being offered.

There’s plenty of things here to take issue with and argue. You don’t have to create ridiculous ones.

I wouldn’t worry about the first responders. I’d worry about a group that has been shown to accurately investigate, and fix evidence when they can’t, coming after me.

Focus on non-bank stuff and you stay with the local retards rather than feds.

The problem is when it doesn't work, they'll have their hands open for federal taxpayer dollars.

I don't care what kind of crazy shite Seattle does. I just care when I have to pay to clean up their stupidity.

Perfect. Last time I was in Seattle some thug (probably Raz and if not certainly one of his merry men running Chaz) threatened to take out his knife, stab me, watch me bleed to death on the floor, and then get away with it because it was MLK Day. Guess I won’t be able to call the police next time. I will be staying in the suburbs from now on when I’m up there on business. It’s a shame too because Seattle is one of the great food cities in the United States.

I was told we were just shifting the funds around to add social service workers to emergency response in cities. strange...

Seattle has been growing in part due to the tech industry in and around the city.

If Amazon, Microsoft, or a ton of other tech firms relocate, that area starts drawing down quick.

I see you've never been to seattle.

You realize they elected a no-shite marxist to their city council right? Not the tame "democratic-socialist" crap either....full blown marxist and proud of it.
