Nothing about them makes sense.
They hate cops but they support the death squads and secret police of communist nations. I saw some idiots on a sub Reddit telling a guy they’re glad they had family members killed by Castro’s men. Yet that same sub has been screaming police brutality the last few weeks.
They hate capitalism but enjoy capitalist products such as social media, smartphones, and the variety of foods like vegan options.
Many hate guns but want to have a revolution.

There were lots of leftists, but there were also tons of programmers from tech companies who were quickly raising prices in the area. It used to be the "gay neighborhood" in Seattle, and there was always tension between people who moved there to work in tech and people who grew up in Seattle. Also the houses down Broadway when it turns into 10th Ave were insanely nice. I can't imagine the police leaving any of those areas by Volunteer Park, as that area was extremely wealthy, including some of the most expensive houses in Seattle. There are two in that area that are going for around 5 million right now.
