Hey... my kid is having trouble in this and that subject. Blah blah blah.

Response: oh well here’s a list of shite that you need to do at home and you need to do on weekends and you need to go on the computer and do these things. You need to further continue going out of your way for your Kids to learn their education.

Oh thanks. THIS WHOLE frickING TIME I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE frickING TEACHER. Never is it a response that they try to pay extra attention to the kid, try to make sure this kid is grasping something or following along. NEVER.

1) most teachers are worthless
2) most parents are worthless
3) if your kid's parents had better genetics he'd be doing well in school

Welcome to classroom size of 28 - 32 students. This is what you get for having low, low property taxes and shite schools.

It turns out that most educational outcomes are directly related to the educational level of the mom.

Kids perform at different levels. Some bloom late.

You think baseball players get better at hitting by just going to their lessons then going to their next lesson a week later without doing any work in between? It’s your responsibility to make sure he is practicing at home and getting better so he can... wait for it.... not struggle in whatever area he is struggling in.

That or you kid is dumb

It is interesting.

I have had more homework since my kid has been in school (now 4th grade) than I ever did growing up.

And worse, they way I learned and know math seems to no longer be valid.

The world needs ditch diggers too, not everyone was born to be a billionaire.

Let your kid be what he/she is and stop trying to mold them into "your idea" of success, all you will do is make them insecure and you will both be miserable.

A kid shouldn't need extra tutoring if it's smart enough for the subject. Take the low grade and move on. Help them only with shite they are good at.

ie. geometry tutor is wasteful, if he needs a tutor, he'll never be asked to use it to earn a living. But if he likes computer shite enroll him in an after school program.

Encourage what they are good at, frick the rest.

If the south had won the war..Our schools wouldnt have been burned, and we wouldnt have been purposely set back.

It's strange to think if Louisiana and Mississippi,
had what New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, new Hampshire..Vermont all have now.

Assuming this is true, when does your personal responsibility come into play?

We have put in plenty of time helping my daughter to understand things she is having a hard time with in school. It's called being a parent.

There's no incentive to be a good teacher. Teachers unions made sure of that.

What schools? We were an agrarian society. Those who needed education got the needed education.
