Probably not.
If someone would have heard a rumor like that, they would have probably posted about it.

Only colleges that I know of. People with children in elementary school cannot handle that and they are in a routine anyway. Trying to avoid college students spreading with travel to/from colleges during breaks.

If schools close after thanksgiving they’re not coming back for January
It would be another spring at home

We are EBR public elementary. Got a call today from the children’s gifted teacher that they were just informed by ESS that all IEP’s that needed to be updated by end of February needed to be done by Friday in case we are no longer face to face. After talking to several EBR teachers and Admin, back to virtual is coming. They are reissuing Chromebooks to the younger grades. I anticipate that after Friday we will not be back until Spring 2021. Teachers and Admin expect the same.

My girls haven't seen the inside of a classroom since March 13, 2020. I don't expect them to see one this school year. Hoping that August of 2021 they get to return. I think so many kids will have fallen behind. Its really sad.
