Let’s say it does breech..I always understood that only everything all the way up to Highland road would flood. Is that correct?

One dumbass even commented that the last time the Miss was this high was in 2016 and it flooded half of Baton Rouge. LOL
The problem isnt necessarily the water height (unless it goes over)
The problem becomes how long it stays that high and what happens to those parts of the levee that arent used to being submerged for very long periods. IF there is a weakness, it gets exposed when saturated for long periods under high pressure.
Maybe some engineer type could tell you specifics, but theres a huge amount of outward pressure from the weight of the water.

Man, are you having a stroke or are you just drunk this early?
Type "o" if it's a stroke and "p" if you're just drunk.

Dominant eye is losing sight. So as I try to type, the coordination is lost and i "miss" many keys. (Noticw the mistakes are keys very close to the proper key.)

Could be worse. Could be closer to the record low which apparently reached -0.07 ft on Nov 14, 1894. Any pics of that? Nevermind, found one.

It’s actually going down in the Bonnet Carre right now. At least 1.5 ft in the past 2 days

Well, I just so happen to work for the Corps of Engineers and am an expert in these sort of things. My official prognosis is that if the pressure builds to breaking, then at LEAST the immediate area around the break will become damp... very, very damp. As a matter of fact, I’ve constructed a very detailed rendering of what it will look like if that happens.
Here it is:

maybe the Katrina folk will finally return to NOLA?
Why can't they go back where they originally came from, New Orleans was actually relatively nice demographically 65 years ago.
