I rode on this as a kid and remember it being pretty scary. I’ve lived in Michigan for awhile now and we have the mackinac bridge which is definitely scarier imo. It’s tall and narrow and I think the largest suspension bridge in America that is entirely over water. shite is ver nerve racking on a windy day.

Lake Charles. That one was no fun either.

Today I drove across the Israel LaFleur bridge for the first time in a pretty good rainstorm. I had an involuntary fight or flight response. I realized it right away and was able to control it. But I couldn't help notice those railings are low, the incline is steep, and the coefficient of friction was low today.
It's kinda Funny that this was the first time in my life I was scared crossing a bridge.

gander bridge here in Arkansas

It's haunted, if you blink your lights 3 times on the bridge you will hear her screech and she will appear in front of your car

Yeah, that one sounds "fun". I think that's the bridge I once saw a TV news piece about how you can request assistance crossing if you are afraid to do so alone.

By far the old wooden bridge over the Cache River in Algoa, Arkansas. It was the most butt puckering broken up POS in a state full of shitty bridges.

The causeway after the LSU national championship, the fog was so thick, it was one lane with 45 mph speed limit. I was scared to even do faster than 30 it was so thick and dark.
