Football? Hell if I could just go back to high school with just my knowledge I have now it would be scary....

Sports, girls, entertainment.... it would be fun

If we’re talking about going back to the time you were actually in school, I’d become the richest MF’er in existence

Perhaps you should look at Derek Henry's HS tape.

Derek was an old man and got his wish to go back and play HS ball.

as a fifth grader one of the coaches, who wasn't that old, and had played hs football decides one day he's going to return a kickoff at practice, he didn't make it ten yards before the biggest man child on the team absolutely cut him in half, had to go to the hospital, wore a back brace for the rest of the season

Jesus H..........

I would do the honorable thing and kill myself if that happened to me.

I played a little 7 on 7 with some of our local high school kids not too long ago and held my own at safety.

I played with Todd Kinchen and he was already like that. He could have scored 50 yard tds running backwards .

I’d definitely play defense I was 5’11 and 165 as a HS senior player, lol.

there were some tough kids in my, 'hood, several of the better, maybe best athletes, never made it to hs football because they either had to work, didn't want to cut their hair, or wanted to drink/smoke openly, kids are probably bigger and stronger today

I wouldn't pick any positions that required me to run down the field every time we had possession of the ball.

Most 8th grade leagues don't let you run the ball if over a certain weight. 150 is the BR Area Catholic school limit. Although St George cheats and starves and dehydrated a 165lb beast for the one time weigh-in before the season.

I don't care how big and strong a kid is for an 8th grader, he's still an 8th grader.

I am into martial arts, have been for years. I teach a class at at the local community center. Last summer we had a smart arse kid join, he was talking shite and such as 15 years olds do. And he had some skills, He had taken karate where he had lived before and was good. Well at least he thought he was good until he was dumb enough after a few weeks of classes to say he could kick my arse.

I don't normally spar with students, because what's the point, but this kid needed a lesson and frankly none of my students were capable of providing that lesson.

So one night he learned a hard lesson. No matter how bad you are, there is always someone who can kick your arse. The funny part is his mom later thanked me for giving him that lesson lol

Pretty sure most 8th graders good enough to start for their team are more athletically capable than I am right now. I would probably get embarrassed.

Football? If I could back in time to 8th grade I'd be more interested in those cheerleaders.
