the story would have been better if, while in front, the trooper leaned out his window and shot the driver's tires out and watched him swerve into the cement wall...followed by the trooper doing a victory lap past the other drivers while also doing this:

Taxi drivers think it's a HOV lane. Some people think it's an "I'm not getting off at this exit" lane. Some think it's the "I'm gonna pass that person up there" lane, even though that person is 1/2 mile away. Some people think it's an "I'm going fast enough" lane.

And most wouldn't even notice if you put a sasquatch on their trunk

So....doing the same thing as when you pass on the left, which would be passing a car

There were plenty of cars in the lane next to me, and the cars behind me were getting over before I could.

have you ever been in the right lane and the left lane slows with traffic? you saying I should slow with them?

I live in Germany and if you ride the left lane it is a very high fine for obvious reasons. I just cannot see how a simple fricking concept cannot be followed here. Left for passing only.

In Germany, isn't driving considered more of a privilege than a right as it is here in the US? Don't they have a much stricter licensing process and it's rather expensive as well?

It doesn't matter to me what goes on behind me. Everyone else gets to deal with that. If someone is legitimately passing at a decent rate, I'll wait. If they leave me enough room to go around them, I'll go around them. That just means they had plenty enough room to get over.


I'm gonna pass you either way. Might as well make it easier and less stressful. If people weren't hanging out in the left lane, I could just pass there instead of making a big scene. Instead, I've got to do shite like getting over on you and making you hit the brakes

Agreed. Nothing worse than sitting in a queue of cars behind some left-laner and then some asswipe kicks out to the right to try to squeeze into the queue.
