There you go again with another retarded stretch.

How am I being retarded? They're both quaint customs that have generally passed.

Weird. I was at one like 2 months ago and 80% of the guys had black suits on. All ages too.

Please do continue with your love for black suits. It's pretty obvious that you feel really strongly about it.

I doubt this.

You think a guy wearing a seersucker suit to a funeral is akin to a guy wearing a black suit somewhere else

What? Now this is retarded. Don't get off track.

Sorry you wore a seersucker suit to a funeral. Didn't think it would be such a touchy subject to suggest you wear the appropriate suit to a funeral, which is black.

You outright said it's the only non-trashy thing to wear to a funeral AND tried to justify it as a good choice for a wedding

This is true. It's such an odd thing, but what is even more odd is for someone to think that owning one is absolutely mandatory.

What's even weirder to me is that someone younger than me, and I am 32, thought of their top 5 suits, one would be black.

Now, I do own a Black Blazer that is pretty nice that I pair with dark jeans because that's how I do. But never, ever go black suit.

I haven't moved anything. I said unless you have a ton of really high end suits you shouldn't own a black suit.

Huh? I have three suits I would consider to be middle end, and a high end sports coat (D. Jones, so not really high end), which is nowhere near being a lot. I definitely have a black suit, though. It's a cheap JOS black suit, but I still have one for purposes of showing respect at funerals.

Navy
Grey
Tan/brown
Black

I guess you could further break that up into dark Navy and light Navy or dark grey and light grey. Throw medium navy/grey and charcoal in.

There's only so many colors before you just start throwing different variations of the same base color.

Dumb. I buy all my suits from Dillards and have never paid more than $300. Shop smart.

Good luck with those Bespoke suits. Everything falls apart nowadays in those dry clean factories. I get three years out my suits with heavy use. That’s about what to expect.

Every true player in his late 20s and early 30s needs a light grey suit. This is essential and the new Navy blue standard.

My next suit purchase. I love the look. I already have a medium/dark grey.

Assuming one of the others is dark blue or charcoal, get rid of the black suit, it's totally unnecessary and taking up space
