Honestly, because when I think black suit, I think of some guido in a black suit with no tie with a shirt that has too many buttons unbuttoned at some dance club.

I guess it's not good enough to be inaugurated as president.

I love how if you have more than one suit now it means you have shitty suits

Well, in fairness, you seem to have an odd love for black suits, so that raises questions about your judgment.

Because I said a black suit is what's appropriate for a funeral?

Man you're all about weird stretches in logic today with the clubbing and now this.

He was wearing a topcoat during his inauguration. And in many pics, it looks to be navy. He also favors fake tans and a comb over, so by all means, if you want to take your fashion cues from him, go ahead. I hope you're amazingly wealthy and/or the President of the United States.

No, because you said it's the only thing that appropriate and that it is mandatory for men to own one.

"not knowing what an overcoat is"

For a funeral? Yeah pretty much. You'll probably have to go to a few a year and you should have what's appropriate to wear, black, for mourning.

Do you cover the mirrors in your home when someone dies too? As was already stated earlier, the only people that tend to own black suits these days are children (or very young people who don't know any better) and old men.

At least it's a suit and not jeans and a t-shirt.

Saw numerous people in jeans and t-shirts yesterday at a funeral. Would have preferred to see them in a seersucker.

I hope you're not that guy that wears a black suit for business.

I posted a picture of a business man and now president wearing black and now he is a comb over, fake tan guy so you shouldn't take fashion cues from him.

I haven't moved anything. I said unless you have a ton of really high end suits you shouldn't own a black suit.

You rebutted with...Donald Trump? A guy with a ton of really high end suits and poor taste?

We're just trying to help you become a better version of yourself, sans the black suit

I remember one time I sent my wife to cox's to get me a seersucker suit. In stead she went to sears and bought me a cocksucker suit.

I know. I picture you frantically Googling "rich famous business men in black suits". Congrats on finding some exceptions. This very thread is about an exception, and yet you adamantly oppose wearing a seersucker to a funeral. Why? Someone has done it. Your logic is faulty.

Sorry you wore a seersucker suit to a funeral. Didn't think it would be such a touchy subject to suggest you wear the appropriate suit to a funeral, which is black.

Have attended 3 or 4 funerals in the last 5 years don't recall very many if anyone wearing black. The funeral director at my Mom's funeral was wearing a navy suit, I think the black thing died out in the 70s.

You think a guy wearing a seersucker suit to a funeral is akin to a guy wearing a black suit somewhere else
