Even if he did big deal.

It's a word that shouldnt have power anymore. It was a word meant to dehumanize a human being. It's happened with many cultures, it's a dead word.

I've heard the argument that the new "N" word is actually "fetus" now. It was said, that this word is the new word that dehumanizes a person thus making it easy to take away their lives and rights on a mass level.

It doesn’t matter what the context was. If he’s too stupid to realize it’s probably not an intelligent thing to say during an interview then he’s definitely too stupid to be governor.
