Implicit bias is one of the easiest types of bias to see and quantify.
The OT is a microcosm of implicit bias (though it exists everywhere and among all people and all races).
Not picking on tOT but you can find dozens of examples of implicit bias on a daily basis here just like you can in the rest of the world. It is simply human nature.

It’s really not that hard. Your brain (I.e. your subconscious) does a lot of your everyday work... more than you realize. So for example if your lived experience is that an unusual number of blonde women don’t swallow, you could know for 100% fact that there’s no actual relationship between hair color and swallowing but that sure as shite won’t stop you from making assumptions moving forward about the blonde chicks at the bar.
Same concept. Your brain is an amazing thing... it recognizes patterns like a motherfricker. But sometimes there are some negative side effects that we should at the very least be aware of, particularly when you know those patterns it’s working to interpret for you are not sufficient. For example, your subconscious opinion about *insert any race or nationality* will be much different when you have a lot of exposure to them vs what you see on TV and incidental interactions and observations.

My guess is he has a misconception of what innate bias actually is. To argue against its existence in every person is unfathomable for a person of even below average intellect and minimal experience. Anyone with life experience has innate bias.

That's Information Bias (Observation Bias). Implicit or innate bias implies something more immutable and definable.
